We kindly ask that if you know about a dismissal ahead of time to please email omsattendance@arlington.k12.ma.us. This will ensure that the child has been called down to the office prior to your arrival and will speed up the dismissal process for everyone. If your child is going to be tardy to school due to a doctor’s appointment, we ask that you also do the same. For any dismissals or tardies related to appointments, please bring in documentation from the doctor’s office so that these can be coded as a medical absence, tardy, or dismissal. When dismissing your child from school, please bring in a photo ID or license.

If your child is going to be absent from school for any reason, please also remember to email omsattendance@arlington.k12.ma.us; it is okay to also notify your child’s teachers, but please remember to also include the attendance email as part of your correspondence.
